Harris to journey to Korea’s demilitarized zone, White Home confirms

Vice President Kamala Harris plans to journey to the demilitarized zone between North Korea and South Korea on Thursday, the White Home confirmed Monday.

Harris will “tour websites on the DMZ, meet with service members and obtain an operational briefing from U.S. commanders,” in keeping with a White Home assertion. The go to goals to reaffirm the USA’ alliance with South Korea, the White Home stated.

“Your go to to the DMZ and Seoul might be very symbolic demonstrations of your robust commitments to the safety and peace to Korean Peninsula, and we’re working with you and U.S. in coping with North Korea,” South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-soo stated Monday in a gathering with Harris.
