Girl, 60, taken to hospital after accident involving PMD at Woodlands junction

A 60-year-old girl was taken to hospital after an accident involving a private mobility machine (PMD) in Woodlands on Thursday (Sept 22), stated police.

Sharing pictures of the lady mendacity on the street at a pedestrian crossing, Stomper Johan stated that the sufferer had wounds on her fingers and toes, and was nonetheless aware when the Singapore Civil Defence Drive (SCDF) ambulance arrived.

“She simply could not transfer from the place. Folks have been standing there to guard her from the site visitors,” stated the Stomper.

“The uncle who knocked her down was ready on the junction till SCDF got here and took his particulars.”

In response to a Stomp question, SCDF stated it obtained a name for help on the junction of Woodlands Avenue 4 and Woodlands Avenue 7 at about 6.15pm.

The girl was taken to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.

When contacted by Stomp, the police stated they have been alerted to an accident involving a PMD and two pedestrians.

A 61-year-old man is helping with police investigations, that are ongoing.
