Sydney brewers assist pioneer new beer fashion


Sydney-based 4 Pines Brewing Firm has launched a brand new beer comprised of Australian wheat, a brew it describes as its personal tackle the Aussie Wheat Ale fashion.

The beer is described as light-coloured and providing “a recent and zesty aroma with nice fruitiness and low in bitterness”.

Head Brewer of 4 Pines, Andrew ‘Tweeds’ Tweddell, mentioned the ale was a “modern twist” on the standard wheat beer.

Paul and Helen Barclay, who provide wheat to Joe White Maltings for the brand new 4 Pines brew from their farm at Curyo, Victoria, mentioned it’s unbelievable to see Australian-grown wheat being utilized in a product like this.

Different breweries like Mountain Goat, Pirate Life, Matilda Bay and Inexperienced Beacon Brewing Co have their very own variations of the brand new Aussie Wheat Ale fashion. They’re all a part of the Carlton & United Breweries household.

The 4 Pines Aussie Wheat Ale is obtainable now at Dan Murphy’s and BWS shops.
