Canobie Lake Park Corkscrew Donated To Nationwide Curler Coaster Museum


SALEM, NH — The Corkscrew, a staple at Salem’s Canobie Lake Park till the trip was closed in 2021, has been donated to the Nationwide Curler Coaster Museum & Archives (NRCMA) in Plainview, Texas, the museum introduced on social media Wednesday.

“Massive Information,” the museum mentioned. “We’re humbled to obtain a historic corkscrew inversion donation from Canobie Lake Park.”

The NRCMA added: “It will take five truckloads to move this single inversion, but we’re excited to make it a landmark for all who come to visit when we open to the public!”

The Nationwide Curler Coaster Museum will not be but open to the general public, although it does promote branded merchandise. On-line, the NRCMA mentioned it’s seeking donations to assist it proceed its “journey towards opening.”

On its website, NRCMA mentioned its mission is to “uncover, protect, interpret and share the historic heritage of the curler coaster for current and future generations.”
