2 girls charged with swiping a number of purses from purchasing carts in Canton, utilizing stolen playing cards

CANTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Two girls have been charged with stealing a number of purses from purchasing carts at Canton Township shops after which utilizing the credit score and debit playing cards inside to make purchases.

Shaniece Poindexter, 26, of Westland, and Monea Marie Matthews, 26, of Detroit, are accused of taking purses from unattended purchasing carts at grocery shops through the summer season.

Police mentioned the pair would take credit score and debit playing cards from these purses and use them to make purchases.

Poindexter and Matthews had been arraigned on two counts of larceny between $1,000 and $20,000, three counts of stealing/retaining a monetary transaction gadget, three counts of unlawful sale or use of a monetary transaction gadget, and three counts of larceny between $200 and $1,000.
