Kilkenny County Council has to alter its coverage on tenants conserving pets or animals may need to be put down, in line with native Cllr Eugene McGuinness.

People who find themselves being supplied lodging in new council residences or duplexes are being advised there’s a strict no-pets coverage.

Cllr McGuinness says individuals who have been on ready lists for years are having the excellent news ruined when they’re advised they’re being given a brand new residence however the can’t carry their pet.

Cllr McGuinness – who’s on the animal welfare committee – says some individuals are being left with terrible selections to make if there’s no-one who can take of their beloved animals.
