Men’s Basketball Announces 2022-23 Non-Conference Schedule

PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania men’s basketball program has announced the non-conference portion of its 2022-23 schedule.

In addition to hosting and playing in the inaugural Cathedral Classic presented by Sheraton University City—which includes games against 2022 NCAA Tournament participants Colgate and Delaware among three contests over the Thanksgiving weekend—the Quakers will play five other non-conference games at The Palestra to go with their seven home Ivy League matchups after the New Year.

Penn will play all five other Division 1 Philadelphia schools this season including home games against Big 5 rivals Saint Joseph’s, La Salle and Temple. The Quakers will travel to Villanova on December 7 for its only Big 5 road game, and on November 15 they will make the shortest road trip in NCAA Division 1 when they travel the half mile from The Palestra to the Daskalakis Athletic Center (DAC) to take on Drexel.

Ticket information for the 2022-23 season is expected to be announced next week.
