Nominations open for the Annual Lethbridge Sport Council Achievement Awards

The Name for Nominations is out for the thirteenth Annual Lethbridge Sport Council Achievement Awards. The awards acknowledge and showcase excellence and spirit in sports activities and embody coaches, athletes, officers, volunteers and sport leaders.

This 12 months, athletes participated and excelled at a number of ranges of competitors in numerous sports activities and behind the scenes, volunteers, directors, coaches and devoted organizations labored exhausting to provide athletes the alternatives to pursue their ardour.

Govt Director with Lethbridge Sport Council, Susan Eymann says “We encourage people and golf equipment to submit nominations for achievements at each stage of competitors, from grassroots to excessive efficiency. These awards honour those that had excellent achievements in 2022 and those that have contributed considerably to sport over time.”

The 4 award classes are Athlete Efficiency which incorporates Junior Male and Feminine, Senior Male and Feminine, Grasp, Athlete with a Incapacity, Particular Olympics Athlete, and Newbie Crew. Sport Excellence which incorporates Group Coach, Excessive Efficiency Coach, Officiating, Volunteer in Sport, Dr. Gary Bowie Sport Occasion, and Enterprise & Sport Excellence. Management which incorporates Shaun Ward Sport Champion, Sport Administrator, and Sport Group. And the Spirit in Sport Awards which incorporates Excellent Sport Citizen and the Knud Petersen Spirit in Sport Award.

Anybody who’s a member of a Lethbridge sport group, trains at a sport facility or is a resident of Lethbridge is ready to be nominated.

Deadlines for nominations is January 31, 2023 and the ceremony can be held in April on the Canadian Western Financial institution Lounge on the ENMAX Centre.
