Sydney’s November ADR second solely to Olympic Video games, STR studies

Sydney’s lodge business is displaying robust indicators of restoration, recording its highest efficiency ranges of the pandemic period, based on the most recent information from market insights firm STR.

STR’s preliminary information for November 2022 information reveals that Sydney’s common each day fee (ADR) was AU$273.07 making it the best month on file excluding September 2000, when the town hosted the Olympics Video games.  

Sydney recorded lodge occupancy of 79.8% throughout the month of November and income per accessible room (RevPAR) was AU$217.79. STR stated occupancy and RevPAR had been the best since November 2019 and February 2019, respectively.

Whereas the figures characterize a constructive path for the market, occupancy remained 7.9% beneath the corresponding interval in 2019.

“When taking a look at each day information, Sydney recorded 27 days of occupancy ranges above 70%, with the best occupancy occurring on 12 November (90.5%) and 19 November (89.0%),” STR reported.
