Comanche Path Competition of Lights open by Christmas


Each night time from Dec. 4 to Dec. 25, guests can cease by Comanche Path from 6-10 p.m. and benefit from the Christmas lights.

The competition has been ongoing since 1997. Admission is free however donations are welcomed.

“That is how we pay the payments. The Competition of Lights committee, we pay all the electrical payments and we purchase all of the decorations, all of the lights,” stated mission supervisor Gregory Canales.

This show options dozens of lighted crimson poinsettia shows, incomes it the nickname “The Lighted Poinsettia Capital of Texas”.

The over a million lights took round a month and a half to arrange. This yr’s path features a tribute to Vicki and Howard  Stewart, two longtime Huge Spring residents who helped arrange the occasion for years till their current passing.
