Automobile crashes into Albany dwelling, leaving path of destruction and particles

Albany resident Keith Olson is amazed a driver, whose car ploughed by his property and into two parked automobiles in a single day, is alive. 

Police are investigating after a blue Ford Falcon crashed into the Albany Freeway property about 2am on Sunday.

Tyre marks point out it crossed a number of verges and a aspect road earlier than smashing by Mr Olson’s fence and hedge.

It then ploughed by his verandah and stairs, crashing into his parked four-wheel-drive and damaging the entrance wall of a neighbour’s property.

The car was ultimately wedged on high of Mr Olson’s Toyota LandCruiser and a neighour’s automobile.

Mr Olson, who has lived on the property on the nook of Wellington Road for 15 years, stated he woke to a loud bang and his home shaking.

“It sounded catastrophic,” he stated.

Mr Olson stated he feared the worst however checked on the motive force, who was acutely aware and freed himself from the car. 

He then checked on his neighbour, who miraculously escaped the flying particles that lodged in her bed room. 

“She had a bit of jarrah timber, which was a part of my stairs, come by the wall of her bed room and lodge itself within the wardrobe in her room, that was near her mattress the place she was sleeping,” he stated.
