Inaugural Stand UP Comedy Competition is on

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) – The Stand UP Comedy Competition is on in Marquette this weekend.

The three-day occasion will encompass six exhibits that includes 12 of the perfect stand-up comedians within the nation.

Friday’s lineup featured Ella Horwedel and Mike Bobbitt, with Sam Rager and DJ Dangler headlining the night time.

Organizers say laughter brings folks collectively.

“I simply need folks to return out right here and escape from actuality and revel in themselves,” stated Vincent Schultz, Stand UP Comedy Competition co-organizer. “We’re going to be surrounded by all of your native neighbors and family and friends, and everyone’s going to be laughing collectively. That’s going to convey everyone collectively, it doesn’t matter who you’re. Laughter brings everyone collectively.”

The Stand UP Comedy Competition began on the Ore Dock Brewing Co. Thursday and can proceed till Saturday.
