Huskers to face Illinois in televised afternoon sport later this month

LINCOLN, Neb. (WOWT) – Following a string of night video games, Nebraska’s subsequent soccer sport — a house sport set for the tip of the month towards Illinois — will probably be on a Saturday afternoon.

The Massive Ten Convention introduced Monday morning that the Huskers will kick off towards the Fighting Illini from Champaign-Urbana at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 29.

“The sport will probably be televised on both ABC or ESPN with the community decided following this Saturday’s video games,” a Huskers spokesperson stated in a launch Monday.

The final three Husker football games have been night video games. Two have kicked off within the late morning.
