Keep your tissues handy, because this video will make you sob for sure.

In the now-viral video, you can see the brother shave his sister’s head. While he was at it, he suddenly stopped and started shaving his own head. The video left people sobbing

The video is making the rounds on the internet and has left people sobbing. A user wrote, “Greatest relation b/w bro-sister relationship….”

Many users also commented with crying and heart emojis. Here is how they reacted.

Why do people shave their heads in solidarity with people battling cancer?

Why do people do it, does it do any good for people who are suffering from the life jeopardizing disease.

This video is not new or done for the first time. People often shave their heads to show support for their cancer-battling friends or family. But is there a reason behind it?

According to Healthy Balance, this shows that you are supportive.  It’s a great gesture to alter your appearance so someone else doesn’t feel alone. It doesn’t just signal support for the cancer patient but can also function as a community activity, auctioning off swipes with a razor to benefit cancer research.

People also donate their hair to NGOs working to create wigs for cancer patients. The Hindu reported, “These hair donations are helping NGOs produce wigs to be given free of cost to people with cancer as hair loss is a common side effect of cancer treatment that includes chemotherapy and radiation.”
