CCI clubs news publishers’ plaints against Google, orders new probe

India’s anti-monopoly watchdog has clubbed together complaints by several news organizations alleging abuse of dominant position by US-based tech behemoth Google. The allegation is that Google was dictating terms and conditions that unilaterally favoured itself, resulting in unfair compensation for content generated by the news organisations. The Competition Commission of India (CCI) said it considered information and documents filed in a
