SHOUT and Day by day Star Books organised the second instalment of their month-to-month occasion ‘Slam Poetry Nights’ within the capital’s The Day by day Star Centre yesterday. 

Nineteen performers recited poems in Bangla and English, their subjects starting from nostalgia, private development and daydreams to psychological well being, loss of life, and trauma. The age group of the performers ranged from faculty to school graduates.

With energetic engagement and exchanges between the performers and the various viewers, which consisted of people as younger as 14 and even the mother and father of most of the performers, the Slam Poetry Night time grew to become a full of life occasion teeming with power. 

An exquisite atmosphere was created as individuals from totally different walks of life, from engineering college students to individuals working within the company world, interacted with one another and shared their love for and experiences with poetry and literature.
