Snowboarding Opens Season at Bates Carnival
RUMFORD, Maine – The Bowdoin Nordic ski staff opened the 2023 season on the Bates Carnival on Friday and Saturday.
With winter performing elusive to start the yr, the Polar Bears confronted moist and tough circumstances for his or her first races. The skiers made three loops across the course in Friday’s skate and upped the gap to a 10k on Saturday.

- Carson Williams started the yr with a 17th place exhibiting within the 7.5k skate on Friday.
- Aggie Macy narrowly missed out on top-ten, ending 11th, whereas Morgan Richter and Jordan Grialou completed inside the highest 30.
- The Polar Bears skated an prolonged course on Saturday. Williams and Zachary Ennis completed 25th and 26th, with teammate James Eysenbach simply lacking out on a top-30 end.
