CBC B.C. returns as companion of Vancouver Island’s annual movie competition

CBC British Columbia is a proud returning companion of the twenty ninth annual Victoria Film Festival – Vancouver Island’s largest and longest-running movie competition, February 3-12 at Victoria venues.
The ten-day competition is “bringing movie to life” with greater than 100 function size and brief movies together with Canadian, LGBTQ and Indigenous options, and programming from Victoria-based filmmakers.
Highlights of the competition embrace the Opening Movie & Gala screening of Francis O’Connor’s movie Emily about one of many world’s most well-known authors, Emily Brontë, panels and masterclasses with producers, administrators, screenwriters, cinematographers and composers, and the Bringing Movie to Life artwork exhibit without cost public viewing on the Atrium (800 Yates St).
