Officer shocked by malfunctioning gentle pole at widespread N.J. procuring space

A Princeton Police officer was shocked Saturday by {an electrical} present from a malfunctioning gentle publish.

The incident landed the officer, who was not named, within the hospital, based on a launch issued by Princeton Police Captain Christopher Tash.

Police had been dispatched to Palmer Square West, a procuring and eating space in downtown Princeton, at 2:03 p.m. Saturday when a caller reported there was one thing sharp on the sidewalk, authorities stated. The officer arrived and was searching for the hazard when he was shocked by an unknown electrical present.

The officer was transported to the Heart for Emergency Care at Penn Drugs Princeton Medical Heart the place he was handled and launched, Tash stated.

An investigation revealed that the electrical present stemmed from a malfunctioning gentle pole, officers stated. PSE&G and Palmer Sq. Administration shut the ability off to the sunshine pole.
