Mysuru: Christmas Carnival held at Konkan Bhavan

Mysuru, Dec 21: Konakni Christian Affiliation had organised Christmas celebration for its members and their households at Konkan Bhavan, Vijayanagar 2nd Stage, Mysuru on December 18.

The grand celebration started at 4:00 pm with Holy Mass in Konkani celebrated by Fr John Sequeira, OCD rector of Toddler Jesus Shrine, Pushpashrama, together with 10 different concelebrants.

The retired clergymen of the Mysoure Diocese Fr Louis Noronha and Fr Angelo Pais have been felicitated after the Mass.

On the festive event, the Affiliation donated Rs. 50,000/- (Rs. Fifty Thousand solely) to ODP organisation, Bannimantap in the direction of their Drugs and Diet meals undertaking which profit the poor Most cancers sufferers.

A 35 years outdated girl who’s a Kidney Affected person was donated Rs. 40,000/- (Rs. Forty Thousand solely) for her dialysis. John William D’souza delivered the president’s speech & Christmas message and the treasurer Anil Saldanha proposed the vote of thanks.
