Lineup introduced for twentieth annual ROMP Pageant

HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – The preliminary lineup for the 2023 ROMP Pageant in Owensboro was introduced on Tuesday, and consists of headliners Previous Crow Medication Present, Ricky Skaggs and his band Kentucky Thunder, Sam Bush and one of many Bluegrass Corridor of Fame’s newest inductees: Peter Rowan.

The preliminary lineup may also embrace Molly Tuttle & Golden Freeway and The Notorious Stringdusters. Officers say Grammy award winner Rhonda Vincent may also return for the pageant.

“Followers sense there’s something distinctive about bluegrass music in Owensboro, and this can be on full show in June,” stated Govt Director of the Bluegrass Music Corridor of Fame & Music, Chris Joslin. “That is our twentieth 12 months, and that type of longevity and innovation is one thing to rejoice!”

ROMP 2023 will happen June 21-24 in Yellow Creek Park. Tickets are on sale now, and officers say costs will improve on December 27. For extra info, visit their website.
