Letter to the Editor: Pets are usually not toys

Jackie Smith, Airfield, writes:

I’m interesting to all mother and father on the market to not get their youngster a pet or kitten or bunny or some other animal for Christmas.

Animals are usually not toys to be performed with and tossed apart if you get bored.

Take a look at the inflow of undesirable animals into the SPCAs. There are even individuals who inform the SPCA they don’t need their pet any longer as a result of they now have a brand new pet. Disgrace on you!

Individuals like this are certain to instil no duty about pet possession of their kids both.

When you have babies and animals, please be certain they’re treating the animals correctly and don’t allow them to deal with these pets as toys.

There may be nothing cute a couple of pet or kitten beneath the Christmas tree.
