PM points letter demanding apology from Baling MP over audio alleging Israel hyperlinks

PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has issued a three-day deadline for Baling MP Hassan Saad to apologise over allegations on social media that the Prime Minister was involved with Israel.

In a letter of demand by regulation agency SN Nair and Companions, Anwar can also be looking for a retraction of the audio publish on Twitter by “Mohd Ropi Mat Sin” on Nov 27.

Within the authorized letter sighted by The Star, Anwar claimed that he was defamed by the audio clip uploaded on Twitter.

“Our shopper stresses that the defamatory phrases and audio clip which was printed has been made maliciously.

“The slanderous phrases and audio is defamatory and slanderous in direction of our shopper,” the letter learn.

The Baling MP has three days starting Tuesday (Nov 29), to supply a written affirmation if he was not concerned over the allegations, to the Prime Minister’s authorized group.

If there was no response, Anwar mentioned his authorized group would think about it as an admission by the Perikatan Nasional MP and authorized motion can be taken.
