Search underway for passenger reported lacking from Carnival Valor

New Orleans (KPLC) – Investigators have accomplished a search of the Carnival Valor after a passenger was reported lacking Thursday.

The Carnival Valor crew performed a search and rescue after a person was reported lacking round midday, in response to Carnival. He was final seen round 11 p.m. Wednesday by his sister, who mentioned he didn’t return to his room in a single day.

The Valor retraced its path to help the U.S. Coast Guard’s search, however has been launched and is continuous to Cozumel, in response to Carnival.

The round-trip cruise left New Orleans Wednesday. It is going to sail to Cozumel and Progreso, Mexico earlier than returning on Monday.
