Iranian director dedicates Marrakech movie competition win to ‘wom…


MARRAKESH, Morocco — Iranian director Emad Aleebrahim Dehkordi gained the Etoile d’Or prime award on the Marrakech International Film Festival late on Saturday for his debut function “A Story of Shemroon”, and devoted his prize to “all the ladies of Iran”.اضافة اعلان

South Korea’s Choi Seung-yoon took the perfect actress award for her efficiency in Canadian director Anthony Shim’s “Riceboy Sleeps”, whereas Indonesia’s Arswendy Bening Swara claimed finest actor honors for his position in compatriot Makbul Mubarak’s thriller “Autobiography”.

The closing ceremony paid tribute to daring and versatile British actress Tilda Swinton, who chaired the competition jury at its final pre-COVID version in 2019.
