Fireplace destroys Cherokee County household’s dwelling
CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. – A Cherokee County household has misplaced every thing after a hearth destroyed their dwelling over the weekend.
Officers with Cherokee County Fireplace and Emergency Companies says crews responded round 10:40 p.m. Saturday to stories of a fireplace on Fletcher Drive close to Conns Creek Highway.
On the scene, firefighters discovered a house already ablaze and shortly obtained into motion deploying hose traces.
Sadly, the closest hearth hydrant required crews to shuttle water to the scene. Regardless of efforts by the crews, the fireplace destroyed the house.

The reason for the fireplace is underneath investigation.
