Edu turns into Sporting Director | Information

We’re delighted to announce that Edu Gaspar has been appointed as Arsenal’s first-ever Sporting Director.

Edu’s promotion sees him assume over-arching duty for all our Academy actions, along with his current tasks throughout males’s and ladies’s soccer.

Chief Govt Vinai Venkatesham stated: “We’re delighted that Edu is recommitting his future to the Membership that he so clearly loves, after making such a constructive and important contribution to our progress in his time with us to date.

“Edu’s promotion formalises his already rising affect over our Academy operations, and we stay up for Per and Edu working collectively to strengthen the mixing between our males’s first-team and Academy but additional.

Edu, a member of our Invincibles squad who re-joined us as Technical Director from the Brazilian FA in the summertime of 2019, stated: “I’m delighted to have this new position which I see as an evolution and consolidation of the best way we’ve been working. We’re making good progress in all areas of our males’s, ladies’s and academy and we’re all enthusiastic about what will be achieved.
