Fireplace officers say nobody was harm after a cooking fireplace within the 2600 block of East Oakbrook Dr. in Boone County on Sunday morning.

Boone County Fireplace Safety District Fireplace Chief, Scott Olsen, says his crews together with Columbia Fireplace Division was despatched to a residence inside at 8:35 a.m. and with the primary crew arrived at 8:40 a.m.

Two kids and two adults had been on the dwelling when the fireplace began in response to division.

Fireplace crews stated once they arrived, they noticed the fireplace within the kitchen extending out into the lounge. Crews stated they had been in a position to put the fireplace out shortly.
