(Northern Marianas Humanities Council) — D’anahlei Rodriguez and Juneya Quitano of Kagman Excessive Faculty bagged first place within the 2022 Valentine N. Sengebau Competitors’s Senior Division on Oct. 25 on the American Memorial Park Customer Heart Theater. Rodriguez and Quitano, each Seniors at Kagman Excessive Faculty, carried out as a du) an unique poem they composed, titled Woven Inside.

In third place for senior division was Jude Litulumar, a senior from Kagman Excessive Faculty performing his unique poem, Divided, sharing his private view on cultural identification.

Third place within the junior division was Eighth-grade Hopwood Center Faculty scholar Seano Pangilinan who carried out Time of Consciousness by Sengebau. Second place Eighth-grade Francisco M. Sablan Center Faculty scholar Gian Antonio opened the competitors together with his recital of I Hear the Message.

The competitors is an annual occasion hosted by the Northern Marianas Humanities Council. Senior division opponents are judged on two classes: content material materials of their unique poem and recital. Rivals within the junior division recited poems composed by Valentine N. Sengebau that had been revealed in a 2004 anthology, titled Microchild.

The Valentine N.
