Staff’ Social gathering elects 3 new members to Central Govt Committee


SINGAPORE: The Staff’ Social gathering (WP) has elected three new members to its Central Govt Committee (CEC), whereas Ms Sylvia Lim and Mr Pritam Singh had been re-elected as social gathering chair and secretary-general respectively.

The three new members elected on Saturday (Nov 12) are Mr Nathaniel Koh, Mr Ang Boon Yaw and Mr Tan Kong Quickly.

Mr Koh, who joined the WP in 2009, contested in the 2020 General Elections. He was a part of the five-member staff fielded in Marine Parade GRC towards the Individuals’s Motion Social gathering (PAP) staff led by Speaker of Parliament Tan Chuan-Jin.

Mr Koh was in WP’s youth wing and was an election agent within the now-defunct Sengkang West SMC. 

In keeping with Mr Ang’s profile on WP’s web site, he began volunteering with the social gathering in 2012, the place he helped out at former Member of Parliament Chen Present Mao’s Meet-the-Individuals (MPS) periods. 

As for Mr Tan, he was former social gathering chief Low Thia Khiang’s legislative assistant from 2013 to 2017.
