Moderna Says Well being Canada Authorizes Second Omicron-Focusing on Bivalent Booster

Moderna Inc. on Friday stated Well being Canada has authorised its BA.4/BA.5 Omicron-targeting bivalent Covid-19 booster vaccine, mRNA-1273.222.
 
The corporate stated the authorization is to be used as “a booster dose for energetic immunization towards Covid-19 brought on by the SARS-CoV-2 virus in people 18 years of age and older.”
      

       
Moderna stated mRNA-1273.222 is its second bivalent Covid-19 vaccine authorised by Well being Canada, following the approval of mRNA-1273.214, or SPIKEVAXBivalent, in September.
