Chocolay Lions Membership hosts Halloween celebration

CHOCOLAY TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLUC) – Trick-or-treating and Halloween gatherings have been on full show throughout Marquette County on Monday.

At Cherry Creek Elementary Faculty in Chocolay Township, the Chocolay Lions Membership held a celebration. It was the membership’s thirty seventh annual Halloween celebration and the primary in-person since 2019.

Youngsters and adults got here dressed as every part from Sonic the Hedgehog, to an inflatable Tyrannosaurs rex.

Youngsters participated in video games like bean bag toss and even hockey with some Northern Michigan College gamers.

Chocolay Lions Membership President Pete LaRue defined why he nonetheless runs the occasion.
