WAHS hosts Halloween carnival to fundraise for Eric Betthauser scholarship
ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (WVIR) – A spooky evening is kicking off at Western Albemarle Excessive College, with face portray, snacks, and a Halloween themed live performance all underway October 27.
The youngsters are dressing up as goblins and ghouls to lift cash for the Eric Betthauser scholarship.
The late choir trainer handed in 2016, and now college students are employees are conserving his legacy alive with a scholarship in his title.
“The performing arts academics and administration began a scholarship so that every 12 months, a pupil from Western is awarded a scholarship in the event that they plan to proceed high-quality arts in school,” WAHS ceramics trainer and Superb Arts Division Chair, Laura Chatterson stated.
