Ukhrul autumn pageant cancelled because of Cyclone Sitrang
Ukhrul: The week-long first version of the Northeast Autumn Competition (NEAF) 2022 in Manipur’s Ukhrul district has been cancelled following Cyclone Sitrang wreaking havoc throughout the state.
The pageant, which started on October 20 at Jorcheng, Lunghar village, was scheduled to conclude on October 26 (Wednesday).
Chiko Adventures, the organisers, stated, “due to unexpected pure calamity ‘Cyclone Sitrang’ we’ve to cancel the final two days’ occasion,” including that they tried their finest to proceed the pageant.
