A video of Folks’s Motion Get together Member of Parliament Baey Yam Keng placing on a Squid Video games costume for Halloween has caught the eye of many on-line customers. Whereas some performed together with the Halloween theme, others voiced out that they suppose the MP might use his time to do extra issues for Singaporeans than take such movies.
A Fb web page shared a TikTok video of Mr Baey on Friday (Oct 22). The 40-second clip featured the MP preparing for Halloween, playfully placing on a dressing up from the Squid Video games, a preferred collection on Netflix.
Within the feedback part of the Fb video, whereas some performed alongside, others took it a unique manner. “It’s a bit tasteless judging by the present financial scenario,” wrote one netizen. “Too free, ah…part-time MP,” one other wrote.
Others took a little bit of a stronger tone, with one even saying, “Do one thing to assist Singaporean (lives), lah.” Some netizens even went as far as to say that members of the ruling get together don’t want costumes for Halloween. “No want costume, their look in public is already scary,” mentioned one.
Moreover, one netizen identified the toy gun in Mr Baey’s video and mentioned, “Even when that may be a toy gun, there may be code and regulation to comply with. And for Halloween, simply put on common apparel and will probably be scary sufficient.”
