The operation, which was carried out from Sep 25 to Oct 8, aimed to clamp down on unlawful actions in Geylang, which included unlawful playing, vice actions, and the sale of unlawful sexual enhancement remedy, police added.

Led by the Bedok Police Division, the operation was supported by officers from the Legal Investigation Division (CID), Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB), Well being Sciences Authority (HSA), Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA), Singapore Customs, Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and Singapore Meals Company (SFA). 

Nineteen males and 13 ladies, aged 21 and 73, are being investigated for varied offences. 

ILLEGAL GAMBLING AND UNREGISTERED HEALTH PRODUCTS

In a joint operations in opposition to unlawful playing involving ICA and MOM, the police raided an industrial unit alongside Lorong 23 Geylang, a industrial unit alongside Ubi Street 1, in addition to an F&B institution alongside Lorong 29 Geylang. 

Ten males and one girl, aged between 46 and 73, are below investigation for his or her suspected involvement in playing offences below the Playing Management Act.
