South Georgia theme park provides free admission for storm evacuees – FOX23 Information


VALDOSTA, Ga. — A South Georgia theme park is providing free admission to Florida residents who have been pressured to flee their houses throughout Hurricane Ian.

Valdosta’s Wild Adventures Theme Park in Valdosta is offering free passes on Saturday or Sunday for anybody from the 26 Florida counties who have been pressured to go away beneath obligatory evacuation orders, The Tampa Bay Times reported.

Anybody with legitimate identification or proof of residency within the these counties beneath evacuation orders is eligible, based on the newspaper.

The transfer comes after Walt Disney World introduced on Tuesday that its theme parks would close on Wednesday and Thursday because of the storm. Relying on the climate circumstances in South Georgia, the Valdosta park’s working hours might be impacted by Ian.
