Eagles Journey to Tacoma for Remaining Fall Competitors


Japanese Washington ladies’s golf will play its final competitors in 2022 subsequent week and conclude its fall schedule. Japanese travels to Tacoma, Wash. for the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational, hosted by Seattle College.

The event will run from Monday, Oct. 3 to Tuesday, Oct. 4 at Tacoma Nation and Golf Membership. On Monday, the Eagles will play 36 holes after which 18 on Tuesday.

The Eagles hosted the Eagle Invitational this previous week for its first residence competitors since 2009. At Indian Canyon Golf Course, Japanese completed fifth with a 908 complete rating.

Freshman Brooke Mahler continued to play properly, ending in 16th place with a 226 complete rating. The Buckley, Wash. native shot a 73 on the ultimate day to maneuver into the top-20 on the leaderboard.

Kami Twining put collectively a stable event, with a 227 rating and was tied for 17th. The sophomore shot 75 within the closing two rounds to earn her second top-20 end of her younger profession.

Jaelin Ishikawa earned a tie for 21st place with a 228 rating on the Invite. The senior recorded a 72 within the second spherical at Indian Canyon.

After finishing its fall schedule, Japanese might be away from competitors till Feb. 27, once they journey to Phoenix, Ariz. for the Grand Canyon Invitational and start its 2023 spring schedule.
