Penalty for negligent pet homeowners in public locations :Muscat Municipality I Instances of Oman

Muscat: A nice of OMR 50 can be imposed on anybody who violates the regulation whereas taking their pets to public locations which is specified by the Muscat Municipality.

“Muscat Municipality has urged folks to abide by the next tips when taking pets like canines and cats to public locations:

1- House owners of pets are obligated to take away the pet’s waste when roaming in public locations, taking the mandatory precautions to stop the pet from disposing of waste in these locations.

2- Pets taken to public locations should put on collars.

3- The pet should be licensed by a reliable veterinary authority on the Ministry of Agriculture , fisheries and Water Sources, ” the Municipality mentioned in an announcement. 

Muscat Municipality added that anybody who violates the regulation is topic to a nice of OMR 50.
