O’Connor shares on writing, illustrating youngsters’s books – Knox County VillageSoup


APPLETON — A smile typically involves an individual’s face once they recall their favourite childhood books. The style of kids’s books is various, colourful and enjoyable. Usually these books interact youngsters’s inventive minds through the use of quirky, relatable characters and tales to share vital life classes and talk significant messages. Have you ever ever considered writing a youngsters’s e-book? Maybe you’re keen on to attract and have nice illustrations which are in search of a narrative to accompany them?

The Appleton Library, 2916 Sennebec Street, hosts native youngsters’s e-book creator and illustrator Catherine Gorski O’Connor Tuesday, Oct. 11, at 6:30 p.m. O’Connor presents on the inventive and sensible technique of writing and illustrating youngsters’s books. O’Connor lives in Appleton and has authored and illustrated “I Love My Socks,” “The Snowman Choir” and most lately, “The Bears’ Halloween Ball.” This free speak is a continuation of “Tuesday Titles,” specializing in native artists and authors sharing their work and story via displays held within the library’s assembly room.
