Do not Fear Darling’s cinematographer insists that the film’s set was “harmonious”.

Regardless of reviews of acrimony between director Olivia Wilde and main actress Florence Pugh, cinematographer Matthew Libatique has insisted that there have been no points on set.

Talking on The Hollywood Reporter’s ‘Behind the Display’ podcast, he stated: “This was most likely probably the most harmonious set I’ve ever been on. Olivia constructed a crew that believed in her and she or he believed in every and all people on the set…

“Once I hear that there are reviews of acrimony on the set, I reject it. It wasn’t obvious in any respect.”

And, he added that if there was stress, it occurred after he left the set.

He stated: “No matter occurred, it occurred manner after I left and began doing one thing else. I used to be by no means witness to something and I did not really feel something. You recognize, you get a sense that there could be one thing occurring, and I did not really feel something.”

He went on to reward each Olivia and Florence, saying Wilde “has one thing actually particular as a director. She’s extraordinarily visible and open and likes to take many probabilities”.

Talking about Florence, he added: “she may do something”.

The film stars Florence and Olivia’s boyfriend Harry Types as a pair dwelling in an idyllic city the place the whole lot is just not because it appears.
