MEMBERS of the Holy Trinity Church in Dilton Marsh have been joined by a few of their four-legged mates on Sunday 4th September for a particular pet service to have a good time the enjoyment and love the pets give their homeowners.
Organisers say, “On the Sunday, a number of canine, a photograph of Poppy the cat, and Valerie the tortoise (together with different pets reminiscent of rabbits, who have been too bouncy to attend, however have been held in our ideas) have been all gathered in Holy Trinity Church, Dilton Marsh, for a particular pet service.
“Janet Likeman, lay minister, spoke to us primarily based on a sermon of St Francis. We thanked God for our pets and the love and pleasure they offer us. There have been additional voices through the Hymns, a lot to our amusement, and everybody behaved very nicely through the service.”
