British American Membership of Jacksonville meets to share recollections of the queen


JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The British American Membership of Jacksonville met Sunday at Culhane’s Irish Pub to mourn the queen and cheer on the brand new king.

Whereas there, they shared a few of their favourite recollections of the queen.

The pal group has been getting collectively for over 50 years to speak in regards to the royal household and their childhood.

One girl from England shared how she’s going to miss Queen Elizabeth II.

“She was an amazing queen. So far as I can see she by no means did something unsuitable. She was actually, actually courageous and we’re so sorry to see her go. And I hope King Charles can be nearly as good as she is, however I don’t assume so. I hope he makes it properly,” Carole Lytell mentioned.

In a somber, regal procession, the queen’s flag-draped coffin was driven slowly through the Scottish countryside Sunday from her beloved Balmoral Castle to the Scottish capital of Edinburgh. Mourners packed metropolis streets and freeway bridges or lined rural roads with automobiles and tractors to participate in a historic goodbye to the monarch who had reigned for 70 years.
