The COVID-19 pandemic, compounded with different crises, has pushed a worldwide growth metric again to its 2016 stage, based on a UN report revealed Thursday.
The UN Improvement Program (UNDP) introduced that for the primary time because it was created over 30 years in the past, the Human Improvement Index – a measure of nations’ life expectations, training ranges, and requirements of dwelling – has declined for 2 years straight, in 2020 and 2021, “erasing the good points of the previous 5 years.”
