Braden and Wagner to talk at chamber breakfast

On Friday, Sept. 9, the Destin Chamber of Commerce will host their Enterprise Earlier than Hours Breakfast. Councilmembers Rodney Braden and Bobby Wagner, each candidates for Destin Mayor, will share their platforms and reply questions. Registration and cost are required earlier than the occasion. No walk-ins or funds shall be accepted on the door. Value is $25 for members and $35 for non-members and registration is due by Tuesday, Sept. 6.

Cookout for native first responders

The Destin Chamber Trustee members are celebrating and thanking native first responders with a free cookout on Friday, Sept. 9. They are going to be grilling hamburgers and scorching canines and serving BBQ sliders at Destin Hearth Station #9 at 848 Airport Street, in Destin, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. All cops, firefighters, medical personnel, seaside security, EMS and army are invited. 

Chef’s Desk Wine Dinner is Sept. 14

Chef Michael Sichel of Soleil in Destin is getting ready to host his second Chef’s Desk Wine Dinner centered on wines from France’s Loire Valley on Sept. 14 at 6 p.m.
