LOCK HAVEN — HELP for Pets will have fun its eleventh 12 months of serving to pets in Clinton County on Sunday, Sept. 11. The two p.m. occasion can be held in Canal Park.
Celebrating the eleventh 12 months anniversary on such a historic day impressed the group to plan to honor all navy veterans, service personnel and first responders as a part of the celebration.
Daybreak Nickels and Paul Oldt will current a program detailing the workings of the Patriot K9 Rescue of Elysburg. This group homes and finds houses for retired navy working canines, contract working canines and retired police canines. In existence since 2017, the shelter has discovered “ceaselessly” houses for over 60 retired working canines. A video and demonstration with stay animals is deliberate.
HELP for Pets members will current a short overview of the accomplishments and plans for the group as a part of the festivities. HELP for Pets is a 501(c)(3) non-profit which supplies loans for Clinton County residents to care for his or her pets in emergency conditions thus avoiding euthanasia for monetary causes.
