Mumbai: Politics throughout festivals is infantile behaviour, says Aditya Thackeray


Shiv Sena MLA Aditya Thackeray on Friday visited a number of Ganesh pandals in Mumbai on Friday and hit out on the politics being performed out by the BJP and the Eknath Shinde camp within the state, saying that indulging in politics throughout festivals is “infantile habits”.

Thackeray additionally reacted to the assault on a 57-year-old lady at Mumbai’s Nagpada by three Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) staff and stated the incident was outrageous and demanded strict motion towards the celebration staff.

“I’ve seen the video of the incident and it was a very soiled and ugly act…it’s outrageous…It isn’t in any respect proper to behave like this. Be it officer bearer or celebration employee of any political celebration. Strict motion needs to be taken and that motion needs to be seen to the folks. Elevating arms on somebody, that too on a lady, is unacceptable,” Thackeray stated.

Thackeray visited a number of Ganesh Pandals in Mumbai and hit out on the politics being performed out within the state. “Whoever is doing politics proper now, (it) is infantile behaviour. Individuals can see who’s doing what politics. Persons are bored with politics. At present, politics is happening in all places. Nobody likes politics happening in all places and each time. I believe it’s time that individuals needs to be allowed to have fun the festive season with pleasure.  It’s after two years that individuals are capable of have fun it. So, we must always simply take blessings of Ganpati Bappa as all the things is occurring due to Ganpati Bappa’s blessings,” Thackeray stated.
