U.N. chief to journey to Pakistan to see ‘local weather disaster’

UNITED NATIONS, Aug 30 (Reuters) – U.N. Secretary-Common Antonio Guterres will journey to Pakistan subsequent week following historic lethal flooding to see “the areas most impacted by this unprecedented local weather disaster,” a U.N. spokesperson mentioned on Tuesday.

Guterres is anticipated to reach in Islamabad on Sept. 9 and return to New York on Sept. 11, U.N. spokesman Stephane Dujarric mentioned.
