Jefferson, NJ cop hit by suspected drunk driver
JEFFERSON — A driver was charged with suspicion of drunk driving after he hit a parked Jefferson police automobile from behind on Route 15 early Sunday morning.
The officer was sitting contained in the marked automobile whereas helping with a crash within the northbound lanes close to Berkshire Valley Street round 3:05 a.m.
The officer’s automobile was hit by David Prontnicki, 45 of Budd Lake, in response to Jefferson police.
The officer was taken to Morristown Medical Heart.
