Put up wins 13 awards at NC Press Affiliation awards banquet

RALEIGH — The Salisbury Put up gained 13 awards on the North Carolina Press Affiliation awards banquet Thursday night time. The 149th annual conference honors excellence in information and promoting in one of many largest such contests within the nation. Put up reporters Carl Blankenship and Mike London joined former reporters Ben Stansell, Natalie Anderson and Josh Bergeron in claiming awards.

• Anderson took second place within the metropolis, county class for “Okay-9 officer video” and third place within the election/political class for “Partisan municipal races.”

• Bergeron claimed second place within the editorials class.

• Workers gained first place within the particular part class for “Spirit of Rowan” and within the journal class for “Salisbury the Journal Summer time 2021.” Workers took second place within the breaking information class for “Capturing at highschool event” and third place within the editorial web page class in addition to third within the journal class for “Salisbury the Journal October 2021.”
